P. 7
Preface
And no one knows the Son except the Father, Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son wills to reveal him (Matthew 11:27, NKJV).
The purpose of this book is to set forth the true doctrine of Jesus Christ, which is the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. Thousands of denominations of the Christian religion have been
Introduced into the world, each preaching its own doctrine of salvation. The reason behind such an ap palling division is a failure to understand fully who Jesus actually is. The articles of faith and books of these sects demonstrate this problem.
These continued divisions have fulfilled the words of the Apostle Paul: "For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not
preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you may well put up with it." (II Corinthians 11:4, NKJV).
Not knowing who Jesus is means being yoked under the bondage of sin. It is then a very urgent need and obligation to understand who Jesus is for the sake of our salvation.
