WHEN YOU ARE AN INTROVERT

So how then do introverts market their work?
Here are suggestions that might work…
• Focus on individualised networking opportunities. Introverts have a range of skills that not everyone
has which can be put to good use in business situations. They are great listeners and great observers who
make meaningful one-on-one connections.
• Know what medium to use. Internet is a great platform for introverts to put their ideas and words out
there. So an active presence on social media is crucial for them to market themselves because they are
using technology to their advantage.
• Don’t worry about impression, worry about results. Don’t focus too much on the impression you are
leaving people with, focus on how your ideas can help them. That should be the first thing you talk about
when you are marketing yourself and your product.
