SPECIAL NOTE FROM NABCA

It was with great anticipation that NABCA planned to return to the

newly renovated JW Marriott Marco Island for this year’s Annual
Conference. The new conference facility would open a world of
meeting opportunities. Unfortunately, a few months ago we were
notified that not all of the renovations at the JW Marriott Marco Island
would be completed in time for the May conference. While all the
existing public space has been renovated and all the sleeping rooms Lodging
have been upgraded, construction of the new conference center and
sleeping room tower ran afoul of more than the usual delays. Last
year’s winter weather impacted the start of foundation work and this
year’s problem with installing the trusses impeded progress on the
ballrooms and the premium sleeping rooms in the new tower. While Information
