The gastro category is a key player in the pharmacy OTC portfolio with customers coming to you for
advice and treatments for a range of common lower GI conditions varying from IBS, wind and bloating,
diarrhoea, and constipation.
Pharmacy is perfectly positioned to offer advice surrounding digestive discomforts so it is important that
both pharmacists and counter staff keep up to date with the relevant information surrounding symptoms
and remedies.
Keeping up to date and knowledgeable on common conditions will give your customers the confidence to
keep returning to you for their OTC purchases.
