Having access to information about purchasing and discounts
is vitally important to dispensing practices to make sure you are
getting the discounts you are expecting. As a PSUK member
you have access to over 80 manufacturer discount schemes
which cover over 1,300 products. These schemes are set up as
requested by the manufacturer so can differ in how they work.
Some are very straight forward and have a flat discount from
pack one and no sign-up is needed, whereas others may require
you to complete an MDS sign-up form and offer varying levels
of discount based on the number of packs ordered.

Because of the number of schemes are available to you, it is important
that someone within the practice is keeping track of your rebates ensuring
you are being paid correctly and making sure you are on top of any new
schemes and any scheme changes that may impact your practice.

Checking MDS Terms

On the PSUK website you can view the current terms for all MDS schemes.
Once logged in, the easiest way to find this information is by using the Members
drop down menu at the top of the screen and selecting MDS Schemes:
