Thea Pharma - Scheme Update
PSUK have worked alongside Thea Pharma to administer their Dispensing Doctor Discount Scheme
since 2020.

As of 1 October 2024, there are a number of changes that we need to make you aware of:
• The MDS rebate available on Monopost has been reduced from 40% to 30%. Although this is a
reduction in discount, you can still make a profit of £2.45 per pack.
• The MDS rebate available on both Thealoz Duo Eye Drops and Thealoz Duo Gel has increased
from 25% up to 30%. These improved rebates make both Thealoz Duo products even more
profitable for your practice.
• Fixapost PF Unit-Dose Eye Drops have been added to the scheme and now attract a 30%
rebate which means you can make a profit of £3.89 per pack, even when clawback is factored in.
• However, unfortunately, Liquivisc Gel, Otrivine Antistin Eye Drops and Thealoz Duo Unit-Dose
Eye Drops have all been removed from the scheme as of 30 September.

We would also like to remind members that the MDS rebates on the Thea Pharma scheme is capped
at 40 packs per product per month.
However, if in order to meet your prescribing requirements, you feel your cap needs to be increased,
please contact Thea directly on dispensing@theapharma.com.
If you want to review your prescribing/purchasing for Dry Eye and/or Glaucoma products then you
can request the relevant Boost from your DDAM.
