Roche
Roche Diabetes Care offer a PSUK member’s MDS discount on a selection of their
blood glucose test strip range and lancets.
Their scheme covers all bases, offering rebate on a high and a low cost brand of
test strips.
As of 31st March 2023, Roche removed the MDS rebates on their Accu-Chek Aviva
and Accu-Chek Performa Test Strips. If you are using one of these brands we
suggest that you look at switching to one of the other Roche products.
The Accu-Chek Instant are a sub-£6.00 test strip, so offer an NHS cost saving and
they attract a total of 17% discount (12.25% MDS plus 4.75% wholesale discount),
which equates to a £0.35 profit per pack even when clawback has been factored in.
The Roche scheme also offers practices a £0.40 profit per pack on their FastClix
Lancets.
