INTRODUCTION
From the moment our country entered the path of independent development , in order
to build a new Uzbekistan, the head of state and government have been pursuing socio-
economic policies. implemented systematically, step by step.
As a result, the comprehensive measures taken in the context of the COVID-19
pandemic, “neighborhood”, “civil” measures to prevent the risk of the population falling into
poverty, as well as investments channeled into the social sphere at the expense of th e state
budget, are maintained. effective. In addition, a program of anti-pandemic measures has been
adopted, which specifies important measures, in particular, comprehensive measures related
to ensuring economic growth, implementing measures aimed at mitigating the negative
consequences of the crisis, and stimulating domestic consumer demand. , as well as ensuring
the uniform development of the territories of the republic, are being successfully
implemented.
Consequently, by providing benefits and preferences aimed at conducting effective
business, creating institutional conditions, increasing the flow of investments directed into
fixed capital, affecting the growth of the gross regional product, as well as activities related
to increasing attractiveness, work has systematically begun to improve the investment
environment of the regions , creating new jobs, solving the employment problem, working to
increase the income of the population.
An analysis of the socio-economic changes taking place in our country shows that
modernization of the economy is very important in the achievements and successes achieved,
and for this the role of an active investment policy is very important. Accordingly, it is
important to create an effective system for managing the socio-economic development of the
regions of the republic, to explore the theoretical and methodological foundations for
assessing the attractiveness of the investment environment and its potential.
Therefore, if we consider the development trend of the regions, then in the conditions
of modernization of the republic’s economy, the differences between the regions in natural-
demographic, administrative-economic, socio-political aspects remain high, trains are still
subsidized. Due to the fact that they cannot adapt to the laws of regional market relations, as
well as the unevenness of their socio-economic development, problems such as irrational
distribution of productive forces and high differences in incomes remain. an important
research site for scientific research.
At the same time, with an in-depth analysis of the development path of our country,
today’s world market conditions have changed dramatically, and competition in the context
of globalization is intensifying.
