B. MAIN CONTENT


         A.  Procedure  Text  is  a  text  created  to  instruct  the  reader  on  how  to

         complete a particular task. Generally, procedure text focuses on how to
         make something and how to do something. Procedure text is generally

         found in cooking recipes, manual books or science experiments.


         Some procedure texts that can be found in everyday life, namely;



         directions:  how  to  get  to  a  place.  Written  instructions  should  be  very
         specific  including  the  name  and  title  of  the  location.  Formal  language

         and  the  addition  of  map  images  can  make  driving  directions  easier  to
         understand.


         instructions:  Instruction  means  to  show  how  to  do  something.  Actually

         similar  to  the  recipe.  The  language  used  must  of  course  be  adapted  to
         the reader.



         cooking  recipes:  Cooking  recipes  contain  how  to  cook  something.
         Prescription is one universal text. Ingredients and tools as well as visuals

         are of course very important to be embedded in recipes.
         game instructions: You must have bought a toy and it has instructions on
         how to play it. Game instructions text usually uses a language style that is

         easy to understand.


         manuals: Manuals are usually obtained after buying electronics and even

         vehicles.  Contains  how  to  operate  the  item,  the  warnings  that  must  be
         known. The manual should be written as specifically as possible.



         agenda:  Agenda  is  usually  made  when  you  want  to  hold  an  event.
         Birthday  parties,  weddings.  holidays  and  others.  Usually  contains  what
         activities will be carried out and when they will be carried out.
