ceremonies in Egypt
First, the bridegroom’s family goes to the
bride’s family and asks for their daughter,
then they wait for the response from the
bride’s family with approval and reading al-
Fatiha. Then the engagement date is set and
during the engagement
the golden net is presented to the bride. Which
includes the engagement ring to the rest of the
gold agreed upon between the two parties, and the
engagement period ends
Then the wedding ceremony will be
