begin to dress the bride in a gold
headdress and a black rosary and
red silk on the right wrist, and a
little bit of the dough of Sudanese
wine, on the middle of the hair,
before the groom sits opposite
his bride to exchange quantities
of sweets and dates for seven
times he ate what is in her hands
and returns it to her again and at
the seventh time The groom gets
up to distribute these quantities
to the audience
