Thong Khwan Fa (Golden Heavenly Axe) and
Thong Babin (Golden Audacious One)
These barges are oil-lacquered barges with a gilded lacquered rising prow. They are the leading barges in
the royal barge procession.
Thong Khwan Fa barge has a length of 32.08 metres with a width of 1.88 metres at the beam and depth of 64
centimetres. Thong Babin is 32 metres long and 1.83 metres wide with a depth of 64 centimetres. The crew of
both barges consists of one officer, two steersmen, 39 oarsmen and one signalman.
