RESPECT RESPECT
BY SOROR BEATRICE HENRY BAPTISTE
Twenty BCAC sorors had the opportunity to attend a private watch party for "King Richard," a new film based on the true story of Richard Williams, the father of world- renowned tennis greats Venus and Serena. The film portrayed his push to make them the legends, which they are. Hosted by the Rubies Sister Circle, the viewing took place at the Cypress Creek Regal Stadium.
The film depicted a father's love for his family and how he persevered through life's challenges. He never lost grit through the storm and stayed the course with his action plans of which he recorded in a journal. This film was released on November 19, 2021 and, indeed, worth watching.
Before viewing the film, the sorors engaged in a sisterly fellowship at LongHorn Steakhouse.
