During his 24 years in the USAF, Isaac learned the true meaning of teamwork and taking care of each other.
First and foremost; besides the Air Force core values of “Integrity, service before self, and excellence in all we
do”, many catch phrases were relevant, but none more so than “one team, one fight”, and “the answer is yes,
the question is how.”

Having served in various levels of aircraft support equipment maintenance and power generation, both
subordinate and supervisor, Isaac believes that the foundations of maintenance management, technical
attention to detail, personnel management, and effective organizational leadership were all ingrained in him and
carried over to his retirement career here at Kingsmill Resort.

“I am very fortunate to work for and with a team here that also strives for the same standards of excellence.
Thankfully, I’ve had many interesting and memorable experiences throughout my military career. One of
relevance is when I was deployed in Italy for Operation Allied Force, and just before the bombing campaign
began we could get a round of golf in on the base course while F-117 Stealth Fighters sat ready in their
hardened shelters just beyond the rough, silhouetted against a beautiful backdrop of the Alps. Another great one
was flying an F-16 Fighter over Virginia and North Carolina getting in 8.5 g’s without blacking out.”
