Dear Members,

This past weekend finally showed us some summer weather and we had a very busy, fun filled
weekend at the Marina. As an update, the gas pump is finally fixed! It worked great all weekend
and was used a lot. There are a few hiccups to report but if everybody does their share, we can
          keep our marina beautiful:

          1. Please pick up all your trash and personal belongings. We do keep a lost and found for up to
          one week.
          2. Please keep the restroom and shower clean. Be courteous to one another and keep the
restroom as you would like to see it if you needed to use it. Cleaning pets is not permitted.
          3. Additionally, please pick up after your dog, and always keep them on a leash while in and
          around the marina.

          4. The boat launch circle: Area is prohibited unless you are towing a trailer with a boat or jet skis,
dropping off a handicapped person, loading or unloading kayaks, paddle boards or some other
form of non-motorized flotation devices that are too large to carry. We are trying to cut down on
the traffic jams for the folks that need to utilize the boat launch and avoid an accident which we
have already just nearly avoided several times thus far this year. Please abide by the no-parking
signs along the marina and boat drop. and park at the top of the hill after you are done.

We have just finished up negotiations and signed the contract with the Williamsburg Sailing
Foundation. In short, we plan to refurbish the stand-alone pier by the fuel dock to moor at least
six sailboats like William and Mary’s fleet for a sailing team and to offer sailing lessons.

I promised a few boaters and beach goers that the picnic tables at the Marina will get a face lift. I
have not forgotten, and I am working with senior management to get the funding. I would like to
give a shout out to Steve Parfet who has helped with measurements and researching for the best

          place to purchase the wood.

If you are out and about, please stop by dock # 6 and welcome aboard our newest addition to the
Marina Family Jonathan and Jennifer Butler and their two lovely children.

          Fair Winds and Following Seas,
