                                   2022 Club  Championship



          It was a beautiful weekend for the
          KMGA’s Club Championship. Even
          though the threat of a big
          thunderstorm appeared Sunday
          afternoon, the golf Gods intervened
          and held off the storm just as the last
          group finished their round.
          The 2022 KMGA Champion is Josh
          Pardue. In the Open Division, Josh shot
          a 148 over this grueling 2-day event.
          Congratulations, Josh! Billy (Mr.
          TMLM) Binion came in 2nd with Phil
          Ragsdale, our defending champion
          coming in 3rd.
          In the Senior Division was big Joe
          Moore shooting a blistering 152 - the

          2nd best score in the field. Newcomer
          Walter Welham was the runner-up                       Club Champion: Josh Pardue
          followed by Fred Ramsey.                              In the Super-Division was Keith Dunn
                                                                shooting a 164 followed by Mike McNulty
                                                                and Suk Ham who both carded 167’s.
                                                                Then, in the Legend Division (sometimes
                                                                affectionally called the Old Man’s Division),
                                                                was again Bob Pehr. Bob has won just
                                                                about everything this year. Rumor has it, he
                                                                had to hire a financial advisor to help invest
                                                                all his winnings. Steady Joe Latchum came
                                                                in 2nd and Paul Rein 3rd.
                                                                As mentioned, many East-West points were

                                                                at stake. Many of the players picked up
                                                                valuable points and are now in great
                                                                position to earn a spot on their respective
                                                                teams. Things could still change as there’s
                                                                one more tourney to go - Member-Member
                                                                III. A lot of points are still up for grabs and
                                                                will ultimately decide who earns a spot for
          Senior Division Winner: Joe Moore                     the East-West Tournament. Sign-up now!
