2022 Club Championship
It was a beautiful weekend for the
KMGA’s Club Championship. Even
though the threat of a big
thunderstorm appeared Sunday
afternoon, the golf Gods intervened
and held off the storm just as the last
group finished their round.
The 2022 KMGA Champion is Josh
Pardue. In the Open Division, Josh shot
a 148 over this grueling 2-day event.
Congratulations, Josh! Billy (Mr.
TMLM) Binion came in 2nd with Phil
Ragsdale, our defending champion
coming in 3rd.
In the Senior Division was big Joe
Moore shooting a blistering 152 - the
2nd best score in the field. Newcomer
Walter Welham was the runner-up Club Champion: Josh Pardue
followed by Fred Ramsey. In the Super-Division was Keith Dunn
shooting a 164 followed by Mike McNulty
and Suk Ham who both carded 167’s.
Then, in the Legend Division (sometimes
affectionally called the Old Man’s Division),
was again Bob Pehr. Bob has won just
about everything this year. Rumor has it, he
had to hire a financial advisor to help invest
all his winnings. Steady Joe Latchum came
in 2nd and Paul Rein 3rd.
As mentioned, many East-West points were
at stake. Many of the players picked up
valuable points and are now in great
position to earn a spot on their respective
teams. Things could still change as there’s
one more tourney to go - Member-Member
III. A lot of points are still up for grabs and
will ultimately decide who earns a spot for
Senior Division Winner: Joe Moore the East-West Tournament. Sign-up now!
