The Kingsmill Men's Golf Association
inaugurated the 2022 tournament
season on April 2nd with Shootout I, the
first in a Series of four Shootouts where
members earned crucial points toward
participation in the Shootout Finals, held
August 28. The big winner in the Finals,
edging out the field of ten finalists was
Dan Driskill. Congratulations!

Through August, members have enjoyed
the Shootouts, two Member-Member
tournaments, the one-day Member-
Guest, and the highly anticipated
President's Cup. The overall winner of Mike Carlson, Marty Reynolds
this year's President's Cup was Bob Pehr, and George Keister relax after
who triumphed over runner-up Jim completion of Shootout 1.
Conaway in a hard-fought match that
ended in a sudden death playoff!

Our tournament season continues with
the most important events on tap in
September and October. The Club
Championship is to be held September 10
and 11, with players vying for top honors
in several divisions. The title of Club

Champion goes to the winner of the
Open Division, with winners in the
Senior, Super-Senior, and Legends
divisions also being recognized.

The KM Member-Guest Invitational to be
contested September 23 and 24
promises to be an exceptional event,
with two days of golf on the River and
Woods courses, along with a skills
Dan Driskill, KMGA Shooutout challenge, player gifts, and several
Champion convivial social events, including a
dinner-dance.
