Martin’s Journey to Restful Sleep: A Physicist's Quiet Transformation
Martin, a distinguished physicist (Martin, BSc MPhil CPhys MinstP FRMetS FRAS ) from London, had battled with lifelong insomnia. Despite his academic success and deep understanding of the physical world, the mystery of sleep remained elusive to him. Sleepless nights had become a norm—until he crossed paths with Adhiyogi, an experienced teacher of the Authentic Yoga System.
During a quiet and thoughtful conversation, Adhiyogi made a simple yet precise recommendation: listen to a loop recording of a tanpura playing a D note, ideally every night, for at least 1 to 3 months. But there was one subtle instruction— “Do not discuss this with anyone while doing it.”
