Nilesh Jade’s Journey with Authentic Yoga
Nilesh Jade, a Yoga Teacher and Computer Engineer from Falls Church, Virginia, first encountered Adhiyogi’s Authentic Yoga Teacher Training with a spirit of deep curiosity and commitment. From the very beginning, he felt that the training was conducted in the true spirit of Yoga — not just as physical exercise, but as a complete way of life.
The course itself was well-structured, requiring students to maintain detailed logs of their home practice. There were opportunities for peer-to-peer review, and trainees often conducted classes for each other — creating a rich environment of learning, sharing, and constructive feedback. For Nilesh, one thing became very clear: the most important requirement for completing this teacher training successfully was strict discipline.
But Nilesh’s connection with Authentic Yoga went far beyond the teacher training. Over a year of dedicated practice, he discovered that Adhiyogi’s sessions were not only about āsanas (poses) but were rooted deeply in Indian philosophical traditions. This philosophical foundation became a guiding light for him — helping him understand his limitations, set realistic expectations, and significantly reduce mental stress.
The impact was tangible: his health improved, his weight reduced and stayed under control — all without extreme measures or forced effort. The combination of mindful discipline, yogic philosophy, and authentic practice transformed Nilesh’s physical and mental well-being.
For him, Authentic Yoga was not simply a training program — it was a lifelong foundation for personal growth and a healthier, more peaceful way of living.
OM Shantiḥ.
