Jyoti Chavan – Pune, India
Jyoti Chavan was once a lecturer at a well-known college in Pune. When family responsibilities required her to step away from her career, her passion for teaching never left her. She longed for a way to teach again — something flexible, meaningful, and in harmony with her family life.
That longing brought her to yoga. Seeing its rising importance in modern health and lifestyle, she decided to pursue yoga teaching. But her first attempts left her disheartened. Large studios, rigid schedules, and impersonal programs didn’t fit her vision of true learning.
Then she discovered Adhiyoga. Unlike the polished but impersonal institutes she had imagined, Adhiyogi’s “institute” was simply his home. No posters, no reception desk, no big yoga hall. At first, Jyoti hesitated — until she began her first session with him. Neel’s warmth, personal attention, and customized teaching style won her trust immediately. He assessed her goals, capacity, and flexibility, then designed a training program unique to her.
What amazed Jyoti was his international recognition. Calls from students in Europe, USA, and Russia came in during her sessions — and she realized she was learning from a teacher of global repute. His method was simple but profound: systematic, practical, and adapted to real environments.
In just one month, with Neel’s support, Jyoti was already teaching yoga at a local school, gaining confidence she never imagined possible. She felt proud, empowered, and deeply grateful. For Jyoti, yoga teaching became not only a career path but also the fulfillment of a long-cherished dream to return to teaching.
OM Shantiḥ.
