Serenella – Italy
The practice of Hatha Yoga has been a thread woven through Serenella’s life for years. She had studied, deepened, and even explored unique aspects such as Yoga Nidra and Sound Yoga, practicing and teaching with passion. Then came a turning point — a painful injury to her menisci forced her to stop practicing altogether. The absence of yoga in her daily life left a gap she did not know how to fill.
One day, in Viterbo, she heard that a teacher named Adhiyogi would be offering two Adhiyoga classes. At first, she hesitated. Could she even participate without aggravating her injury? But something inside urged her to try. After the first lesson, all doubts melted away. She attended the second class, then collaborated in training his teacher trainees, and finally requested to join the second part of his course on Pranayama, Meditation, and Philosophy. To her delight, Adhiyogi welcomed her in.
From there began a magnificent adventure — a journey that blended her previous knowledge with the treasures Adhiyogi shared. His teaching style, precise yet fluid, never trivialized yoga. Every asana was shown and practiced in careful stages, every concept mapped on the blackboard with his signature “magic schemes,” connecting the subtlest philosophical points to the universal being.
Serenella describes him as a “prodigious weaver,” mending the torn fabric of her life’s carpet, restoring joy and wholeness. He taught her that yoga is not merely physical postures, but an ancient, sacred discipline that connects body, mind, and spirit in perfect harmony. Through his guidance, she rediscovered happiness in practice, savored day by day. To her, meeting him was no accident — it was an encounter gifted by the Universe, a response to her deepest calls.
OM Shantiḥ.
