Karusha Harichand – Yoga Teacher, Zambia
Karusha’s journey into the heart of Adhiyoga came at a turning point in her life. She often says that meeting Dr. Adhiyogi felt like a gift directly from the divine — a timely blessing that would shape both her understanding of yoga and her approach to life.
She first encountered Adhiyogi through the Adhiyoga – Authentic Yoga System course, which she undertook over 10 deeply engaging online sessions. Despite the physical distance, she never once felt the absence of the teacher’s presence or guidance. Adhiyogi’s humble yet profoundly knowledgeable manner brought the teachings to life, blending personal experience, lived wisdom, and precise explanations. The accompanying book served as both a self-contained guide and an invaluable study tool, but it was Adhiyogi’s interactive approach that transformed the text into a living, breathing system.
For Karusha, every topic in the course was not just relevant to yoga enthusiasts but vital for all human beings seeking clarity, purpose, and fulfillment. The system’s logical structure, combined with its roots in the ancient tradition, gave her tools to live with greater satisfaction and deeper awareness. She often reflects on how the program came “at the exact moment it was meant to,” and she is forever grateful for the opportunity.
Her connection with Adhiyogi didn’t end with the initial course. Karusha embarked on a second, even more profound study — a full video project covering the entire Adhiyoga System. In this series, she posed thoughtful, in-depth questions to Adhiyogi, prompting him to explain, demonstrate, and illuminate every aspect of the system. This project became not just a learning exercise but a living archive of Adhiyoga’s philosophy and practice. The process of filming, questioning, and listening to his answers expanded her understanding far beyond the scope of any single training.
Today, Karusha continues to teach with the clarity, confidence, and authenticity that Adhiyoga instilled in her. She considers the knowledge she has gained — and the bond formed with her teacher — as treasures for life.
OM Shantiḥ.
