Veronica Varnika Pineider – Officer in the European Union From Florence (Italy), Living in Kathmandu, Nepal
Veronica describes her Teacher Training with Adhiyogi as one of the most transformative experiences of her life — an encounter that brought her deeper knowledge, unshakable self- confidence, and a treasure of precious memories.
From the very first day, she felt immersed in a rare blend of discipline, openness, and personal attention. Prof. Adhiyogi, as she respectfully calls him, shared his vast knowledge of yoga history, philosophy, and practice with passion and patience. His theory lessons were crystal clear yet preserved the full complexity and depth of the subject. He encouraged curiosity, creativity, and a critical approach, never letting a question go unanswered and always inviting discussion.
Adhiyogi’s training design went far beyond physical postures. He assigned homework, reviewed students’ notes, and asked for daily reports — helping trainees build discipline and extract maximum value from every moment of the course. His teaching was energetic and enthusiastic, while his personality was generous, attentive, and perceptive. He quickly grasped the strengths and weaknesses of each student, encouraging them to overcome their limits and discover their full potential.
One of the most unique aspects of Veronica’s training was the variety of teaching contexts — from yoga studios to open-air spaces — and, most memorably, teaching children in local communities. This deeply moved her. She returned to Nepal determined to continue this work, and today she teaches yoga to children regularly, finding immense joy in their curiosity and openness.
Her journey with Adhiyogi did not end with her certification. She has continued to study philosophy with him to this day, diving deeper into texts such as his book on the Adhiyoga System — a logical and comprehensive approach to yoga, from practical methods to the highest spiritual aims. According to Adhiyogi, Veronica stands out as one of the best students he has ever encountered.
More than a teacher, she sees him as a living example of kindness — a man who nourishes friendships, supports disadvantaged children, and walks his talk in every sphere of life. For Veronica, the training was not just professional growth; it was a profound human experience that reshaped how she practices, teaches, and lives yoga.
“Thank you, Adhiyogi, for your inspiring example,” she says. “This journey will stay with me forever.”
OM Shantiḥ.
