The Call from Vinayak
Back in New Zealand, as life settled into routine, an unexpected event occurred. Vinayak, now extremely aged and hard of hearing, took a profound step. Despite his condition, he asked one of his disciples in Pune to place a phone call to Adhiyogi in New Zealand. The conversation was short and sweet — merely an inquiry about his U.S. trip. But in hindsight, it seemed to Adhiyogi that this was his father’s final blessing, reaching across the ocean in the quiet of an ordinary call.
Shortly after that phone call, Vinayak passed away peacefully.
And within days of his passing, as if guided by divine design, Adhiyogi received a job offer from the United States.
He accepted.
Upon moving to the U.S.A., Adhiyogi began a new chapter of his life — one filled with purpose, expansion, and grace. He eventually obtained U.S. citizenship and, as we shall see in the following sections, continued to carry forth the flame lit by his father, his guru, and the eternal wisdom of Yoga.
OM Shantiḥ.
