Let us consider some references from the world-renowned texts:
Bhagavadgita 18.54: Established in identity with Brahman and tranquil, the Yogi neither grieves nor craves. Regarding all beings alike, he attains supreme devotion to Me.
Bhagavadgita 18.55: Through that supreme devotion the Yogi comes to know Me fully, who and what I am, the greatness of My form and essence, in reality; then having known Me truly, he forthwith enters into Me..
Bhagavadgita 18.56: One, taking refuge in Me and performing all works constantly, by My grace, attains the eternal and immutable realm.
Bhagavadgita 18.57: Surrendering all acts to Me, thinking of Me as the highest goal, and resorting to Buddhi-Yoga, focus your thought ever on Me.
Bhagavadgita 18.58: Fixing your mind on Me, you will, by My grace, overcome all difficulties. If, however, out of ego you do not heed Me, you will perish.
