(Second Section) dvitīyaṁ prakaraṇaṁ - aṣṭāṅgayoge īśvarapraṇidhānam।

2.1 aṣṭāṅgayogādvivekakhyāti:।
With Aṣṭāṅga Yoga, one obtains Vivekakhyāti.
Here Aṣṭāṅga Yoga means the eight-fold path described by the great sage Patañjali in his world-famous Yoga Sūtras also known as Pātañjala Yogadarshana. Another book, Patañjali Code by the author of this book has reformed the Pātañjala-Yogadarshana with the addition of 30 Sūtras, modification of 30 Sūtras and reorganization of the Sūtras into 12 sections, and complete rewrite of the Īśvarapraṇidhāna topic, to make the understanding of the Pātañjala- Yogadarshana easier and better.
In short, Pātañjala Yogadarshana incorporates the Philosophy model of human life, with its 25 elements. ( ). According to this philosophy, the human suffering or dissatisfaction, which exists throughout the life, is caused by alliance between puruṣa and prakr̥ ti.
