तस्य हेतरविद्या॥२.२४॥
Patanjali Yoga Sutra 2.24: Tasya heturavidyā|
The above conjunction is caused due to Avidyā (Ignorance).
तदभािात्संय गाभाि हानं तदद दृशेोः कै िल्यमद॥२.२५॥
When Avidya is absent, the mix ceases to exist leading to Kaivalya (liberation) of the
Draṣṭṛ (Soul). This process is called hāna.
वििेकख्यावतरविप्लिा हान पायोः॥२.२६॥
Patanjali Yoga Sutra 2.26: Vivekakhyātiraviplavā hānopāyaḥ|
Unshakable knowledge of the total distinction between Draṣṭṛ (Soul) and dṛśya (knowable world)) is the method to reach hāna.
