उद्घाटयेत्मकपाटं तु यथा कंु चचकया हठात ् ।
कु ण्डशलरया तथा योगी मोक्षद्वारं ववभेदयेत ् ॥ ३.१०५॥
Hathayogapradipika 3.105: As a door is opened with a key, so the Yogi opens the door of mukti by opening Kundalini by means of Hatha Yoga.
गङ्गा-यमनु योममध्ये बाल-रण्डां तपस्स्वनीम् । बलात्मकारेण गह्णृ ीयात्तदद्वष्णोः परमं पदम् ॥ ३.१०९॥
Hathayogapradipika 3.109: Youngster Tapaswini (ascetic), lying between Ganges and Yamunâ, (Ida and Pingala) should be caught hold of by force, to get the highest position.
परुछेप्रगह्यृ भिुङ्गींसप्तुामद्बुोधयेरचताम्।
तनिां ववहाय सा शक्तिरूध्वममवु त्तष्ठते हठात ् ॥ ३.१११॥
Hathayogapradipika 3.111: This sleeping serpent should be awakened by catching hold of her tail. By the force of Hatha, the Śakti leaves her sleep, and starts upwards.
