Page 26 - What is the Squad List?

Going back to my B.R.I.D.G.E. system.
B.R.I.D.G.E. is an acronym for Balance sheet, Resources, Infrastructure, Diversification, Grade and Exploration potential.
I go into each of these in more detail in my newsletters and the book, but in a nutshell, I’m looking for:
Balance sheet – Is it right for the company?
Resources – Do they have any and if so, what?
Infrastructure – What roads, power and water are nearby?
Diversification – Are they involved in just one project or do they have irons in other fires?
Grade - What is the grade like?
Exploration potential – What’s the potential to find more?
This is really basic stuff, but I’m constantly amazed at how people fail to look at some (in some cases all) of these factors.
The ones that tick my boxes make it onto my long list (as I mentioned earlier, you can think of it as a fantasy football squad, with goalkeepers being lower and forwards higher risk). Once I’ve got a long list I can start building my portfolio.
