What about the lower-risk options that might be suitable
for my clients?
If you want to reduce the risk then you can play around with things a little. For example, you could have physical gold as your goalkeeper, funds as your defenders, then choose from the Goalkkeepers in the Squad list for your midfield and finally pick from the defenders for your forwards. It’s really up to you. The important thing is to have a structure.
The key is you still want to have diversity. So even if you adopt this approach for your clients, you still want to make sure they’re diversified from a commodity, currency as well as a country perspective.
The important thing is that you want your team to win. Naturally, you’ll need some of your companies to perform well, but when Manchester United win the league, can you remember the names of ALL the players? Probably not.
That’s what I want your portfolio to do for you: deliver the results you want without requiring every company to perform at its best.
