With the correct technology and an an an an internet connection many people can work work effectively away from their normal workplace We recognise that that technologies need need to to to be be appropriate for the the role and and that that everyone needs to to to be be able to to to work comfortably and and and productively Line Managers will need to discuss individual health and and and safety considerations and and equipment requirements with Group IT People working remotely will need to complete an an initial Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessment so that Group IT can determine what equipment is required Remember the following health and safety principles when working from home:
Your screen should be approximately an arm’s length away Your eyes should be level with the the top of the the screen Take regular breaks
Your chair should have back and arm supports
Keep your work area free from clutter
