Hike, Bike, Or Paddle
Traverse the scenic trails and find enchantment
at every bend. Kent Island boasts two walking and biking trails, The Cross Island Trail, and The South Island Trail. By making use of our county-wide cycling map you can choose
from eight bicycle routes ranging from 5 to 59 miles, all easily adaptable to any skill level. Alternatively, you can opt to travel by water using our six designated water trails that vary by degree of difficulty. Explore and learn about the cultural heritage and natural habitats of the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem. The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center, in Grasonville, offers amazing paddling experiences with spectacular water views and a chance to see some of the most diverse aquatic life in the Bay.
