SHOP LOCAL is a community-wide effort designed to encourage residents to patronize their local businesses. These businesses continually contribute to area nonprofit organizations such as schools, churches, sports teams and more. The program helps remind our community residents and organizations to complete the circle of support, keeping our community healthy, vibrant and strong.
The Chamber and the
Community
Severna Park and Arnold are wonderful communities to live and do business in. Being part of a passionate, close-knit community with a rich history, many of the area’s 60,000 residents prefer to shop locally to preserve the towns they know and love.
With more than 600 members, the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce unites the business community, dealing with issues and attracting new business. In its mission to assist local businesses and allow the local economy to prosper, the Chamber has gained a wider reach than the boundaries of its namesake, with members from Annapolis, Millersville, and other areas of the county. This is largely a result of the Chamber’s many business and community opportunities such as Restaurant Week, Shop Local festivals, or the annual Independence Day parade.
