The question what are you doing is usually
used by native English speakers to ask about
the activities someone is currently doing or
when this question was said. Even though
this question begins with what are you doing
as above, this is not necessarily asking what
you were doing in the morning and although
the present continuous usually refers to the
time now, in the context of this question,
with the timestamp in the morning, it refers
to the time which will come.
