A TOOL YOU’VE ALREADY GOT
The removable handle of your shop’s floor jack makes
a pretty good extension when breaking loose over
tightened lug nuts. I don’t recommend using this with a
ratchet, but I’ve been pretty lucky using it with breaker
bars. With the additional leverage, there will be few lug
nuts you won’t be able to break loose. By using the upper section as a bonus you
get a rubber grip to hold on to.
Ed Note: I’ve had on of these as a permanent part of my tool box for 30
years
