Cloud Risks

Private cloud lets us build responsive and reliable IT systems and

infrastructure and offer IT as a service. Public cloud can be a real

boon in moving development projects forward, providing test

environments, providing temporary resource for short term jobs

such as analytics projects but without understanding and control, it

can be damaging and risky. Cloud latencies can lead to poor user

experience, damaging our reputation and image. Cloud creep ca

lead us to managing too many different clouds with many different

invoiced from different providers. Over enthusiasm for cloud may

lead to data breaches or compliance failures.
