Automated Process in the New World

The modern Datacentres approach is to enable software driven

configuration of datacentre services, (compute, network,

storage) and only deploy infrastructure on demand. Effectively

the datacentre becomes a software defined datacentre (SDD)

and all infrastructure configurations are triggered by user

demand for application deployments.

This turns things on their head. Rather than building

infrastructure deploying the applications, we now define the

infrastructure requirements as we deploy the applications.
