How Does Load and Schedule Based Algorithm Work
• Algorithm runs every 5 minutes
– Scaling actions executed through XD SDK (machine needs to be power managed)
• Always maintain the min # of machines per schedule, then scale up and down based on load
• Automatically scale up and down per load
– Scale up: first take most loaded machines out of maintenance mode, then power on more machines
– Scale down: first put least loaded machine into maintenance mode, then power off machines with 0 session
