NetApp FlexPod

▶ FlexPod is the converged infrastructure solution from NetApp and Cisco.

• It simplifies and modernizes IT with continuous innovation, delivering superior application performance, broad
support for any cloud strategy, and improved operational efficiency to accelerate data center transformation
and business evolution.

• FlexPod includes Cisco Unified Computing System (Cisco UCS) servers, which provide programmable,
virtualized compute with an open API and support for orchestration tools. Cisco UCS has its own policy-based
management with service profiles and self-integrating components. And it works with the Cisco Nexus series
switches for a unified fabric, virtualization awareness, simple scaling, and high-performance I/O.
• FlexPod features NetApp All Flash FAS, along with ONTAP data management software. FlexPod stands apart
from similar solutions thanks to truly unified storage that can be virtualized into pools and be nondisruptively
managed. FlexPod also uses NetApp OnCommand storage software, which delivers the built-in storage
efficiencies of ONTAP, integrated data protection, and intelligent management and automation.

• FlexPod has open APIs for integration with hypervisor and orchestration tools, featuring Cisco UCS Director
for centralized FlexPod infrastructure management. Automation tools simplify provisioning and deployment of
FlexPod solutions.
