Adding a New User

• Email address is used as logon username
• External ID is used to map a local user
account to a specific SAML user account
−In setting up SSO integration the External ID
field can be mapped to a field from the
authentication service. I.E. CN (common name)
−When creating a CloudCenter user if a value is
placed in the External ID field the account will
be mapped to the SSO user account that has
the matching value in the mapped field. I.E. if
field mapped in SSO setup was CN and I put
Melody for an External ID it will map the
CloudCenter user created to the SSO user that
has a CN of Melody
• Users who are not assigned a plan here
will be considered Trial Users
• Every user must have a contract assigned
• Activation Profiles automatically populate
activation settings
