Replacing Parameters with Macros
Substituting a user-defined parameter with a macro is easy
CREATE: Add a new custom parameter (provide a parameter name, display
name, description, type, and an optional default value for this parameter).
REFERENCE: Each user defined parameter can be referenced as a macro using
CliQr's convention.
Example
– Parameter name: myParameterName
– Macro reference for this parameter: %myParameterName%
Use a macro in an app configuration file or use it as an argument to pass to a
configuration script in the Application Profile.
At deployment time the Macro will be replaced with the actual value of the parameter.
DEFINE: If the parameter is editable, the person executing the deployment for
this application is queried for the parameter value.
