What is an Deployment Environment?

 A Logical “Environment” which CloudCenter
users are granted permissions to deploy
applications to.
 Dev

 EMEA
 Production

 Mapped to one or more clouds
 Mapping tied to cloud account if multiple  Every user must have access to at least one Deployment
accounts are used on that cloud region Environment to launch an Application
 Allows for deployment permissions to be
managed  Designed for use cases where multiple users need to see/work
on the same set of deployments

 Tied to Project Phases as part of the CICD Project Board for
DevOps Lifecycle – CICD Project Board covered in Module 4

 With or without approvals.
