4. Incentives and Awards
1. No faculty shall be promoted if he/she is not involved in extension activities.
2. The over- all performance rating of a faculty should include his/her extension
functions/activities.
3. To sustain and encourage the conduct of quality extension projects to
support accreditation of curricular programs, the University shall institutionalize an
Annual Award for Outstanding Extensionist of faculty and Best Extension
Program Award either conducted individually or by a group of faculty which are
college-based or University extension project and duly approved by the University
shall be provided. Incentives in the form of plaques of recognition and cash award
of Ph5,000 shall be given and conferment of awards shall be done during the ISU
Foundation Day.
4. A separate Extension In-House Review shall be conducted annually and
papers presented during the University Agency-In-House Review that meet the
criteria and judged by the panel of Evaluators to be deserving of award shall be given
financial reward as follows;
1. Income Management
The income derived from extension shall constitute a special fund for the use of the extension
project/activities for the University.
