4. BEST PRACTICES

➢ Cite as many best practices as you can on Parameter A (Priorities and Relevance)

Extension services are provided by the college and/or program in response to the
needs and urgent concerns of the community it serves. Likewise, it takes into consideration
local, regional, and national development thrusts. The services extended are in consonance
with the institution’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives.

The best practices include the following:

• The ISU College of Nursing conductions of family health related activities that benefit
the community that was based in SDG 3 of the Sustainable development goal.

• The CON extension focuses on training people in the community that led in the
provision of opportunities for income-generating activities and livelihood
development like the usage of halamang gamot, soap making, acupressure that
would later help them earn a living.
• The CON through the Baranggay Integrated Development Approach for Nutrition
Improvement (BIDANI)conducts activities specially on Proper nutrition which aims to
achieve good health, thus alleviating people from illnesses and diseases for the
general well-being of families within a community.
