B. Professional Information:
1. Course Aims: This course enables the students to:
1. Recognize the basic principle of inorganic chemistry including chemical
equilibrium, types of reactions, solubility product constant, conversion factor,
electrolytes, acid-base reactions, and metathesis reactions.
2. Demonstrate the basic concepts of physical chemistry regarding some topics
such as the rate of reaction.
3. The course provides the basic concepts of quantitative chemical methods of
analysis, including acid-base titration and precipitation titration.
4. The course also covers the application of these methods to pharmaceutical
compounds.
