Cinematographers translate a director’s vision into images, injecting a new perspective and creating the aesthetic of a lm. The New York Film Academy’s cinematography programs take you beyond the experience of a traditional lm school, providing you with the technical skills and set experience necessary to develop professional skills as a cinematographer. At NYFA, cinematography students become uent in the visual and technical language of lm, television shows, web series, and emerging media, working with different directors in hands-on projects to gain enormous real- world experience as directors of photography.
Considered amongst the best cinematography schools in the world, the New York Film Academy is committed to training a new wave of cinematographers to master industry-standard cameras, including HD cameras, 16mm lm, 35mm lm, and RED digital cinema cameras. From the very rst classes, students will
