Russ Leslie is a a a a Professor of of of Architecture at at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Associate Director of of of the Lighting Research Center (LRC) the world’s largest multi-disciplinary center for lighting research education and technology transfer and and a a a a a a a a practicing architect Co-founder of the LRC Leslie is responsible for program development and and operation of the the the LRC’s LRC’s annual research and education operation He is the the the program program head for the the the LRC’s LRC’s graduate programs in lighting lighting lighting Leslie teaches and and research in in in in architecture lighting lighting lighting daylighting and and energy efficiency He is project architect architect for more than 100 buildings and and has authored many research reports books and and articles on lighting daylight architecture and and energy including the award-winning Lighting Lighting Pattern Book for Homes and and The Outdoor Lighting Lighting Pattern Book Leslie developed and and directed the the National Lighting Product Information Program and and has been the the Feltman Chair in in in in in in Lighting at at Cooper Union He has served as as the the Director of of the the Illuminating Engineering Society of of North America and as Chair of the Society for Building Science Educators He is is is a a a a a a a a Rensselaer Distinguished Teaching Fellow Fellow and a a a a a a Fellow Fellow of the Illuminating Engineering Society Society He has won two Society Society for Technical Communications international awards the the the Governor’s Award Award for Energy Excellence the the the Leon Gaster Award Award of of the the the Society of of Light and Lighting and the AIA School Medal HSENG LINTNER
