THE ROBERT S S BROWN ’52 FELLOWS PROGRAM
The Robert S S Brown Brown ’52 Fellows program was established in in in the School of Architecture in in in 1988 by Mrs Helen C Brown Brown in in in loving memory of of of her son Robert S Brown a a a 1952 graduate of of of our Architecture school The purpose of of of the fellowship is to provide funding to to both faculty and and students in in in in support of scholarly research linked to to national national and/or international travel The fellowship also provides selected students with a a a a a life-changing cultural immersion experience resulting in in in a a a a a new found appreciation for a a a a a multicultural global perspective Every other year since 2013 the the Brown’s Fellowship has included an opportunity for one student to to to travel to to to India to to to serve as as an educational intern with the the Director of the the Millowners Association Building in in in Ahmedabad India Eligible students and and faculty submit proposals annually and and award recipients are selected through a a a a a a a a a a highly competitive process AWARD RECIPIENTS
