Commons Commons Assistant Assistant Deans—The Commons Commons Assistant Assistant Deans Deans help with students’ day-to-day matters and and work with resident resident directors and and resident resident assistants to answer questions as as they arise in the the residence halls Faculty Deans of of the Residential Commons—These tenured professors act as the the the primary liaisons between the the the staff and the the the faculty The Faculty Deans provide students and faculty with opportunities to to get to to know one another on on a a a personal level They also offer opportunities for students to develop personally and professionally to broaden their perspectives on on on media arts and and and their their community and and and to deepen their their understanding of undergraduate academic life Class Class Deans—Assigned to each class year Class Class Deans Deans provide developmentally specific support programming and advocacy for students affording them a a a a a a a better appreciation of of all aspects of of the the Institute Class Deans help to structure leadership experiences provide learning assistance and and and career planning and and and plan plan social and and and cultural activities In short they are are mentors counselors facilitators and guides for students making their way through their college years Student Student Life—All other Student Student Life Life departments contribute to a a comprehensive and developmental commitment to student growth They are are are critical to nurturing well-rounded students who are are are uniquely prepared to to graduate and ready to to impact the the world Athletics the the Archer Center for Student Student Leadership Development the the Student Student Health Center Center the the Center Center 902
