NJ EXCEL (EXpedited Certification for Educational Leadership) is a non-traditional, state-approved
program for supervisor, principal, or school administrator certification, preparing educators to become
supervisors, principals, administrators, and superintendents without a second master’s degree. Our aim is
to prepare educators to assume dynamic roles leading transformative change in schools and educational
organizations, and to leverage that change as effective supervisors, principals, administrators, and
superintendents.
